For the past few years, I have called San Francisco, CA my home. Since receiving my Master of Arts degree in History and Museum Studies from San Francisco State University, I have worked closely with the GLBT Historical Society and their newly opened GLBT History Museum in the Castro neighborhood. After noticing a lack of focus on collecting, preserving, and promoting the thriving and ever-changing Bear culture and community in the city, I decided to take it upon myself and create a repository solely dedicated to Bear history and the Bear community. Thus was born the Bear Ephemera & Archival Repository.
Apart from collecting artifacts of the Bear community, I also sat on the Board of Directors of the Bears of San Francisco (BOSF), a community non-profit, as Activities Coordinator from 2013-2016.
A big bear hug,
Jeremy Prince
